When I was in high school, I worked at a local bakery. Every year during the holidays, customers would like up around the block to buy fresh dinner rolls for their dinner table. There’s no need to wait in line for these fluffy little rolls! They are easy to make from the comfort of your own home.
When I first started experimenting with sourdough it’s because I knew it was one of the healthiest ways to prepare grains. But when I made my very first batch of sourdough scones, I was hooked on their flavor! It was more delicious than anything I had ever made. When I baked my first sourdough bread, I knew there was no going back to store-bought. And then sourdough pancakes, cornbread, biscuits, bagels…!
Is there anything as heavenly as fresh-baked bread. This recipe is my favorite and blends of regular flour, whole wheat, and rye.
